Great food, especially for the price! The chef is doing a great job, including for the presentation of the plates. We had a great diner there, the service wasn’t the best (sometimes you felt you were bothering them, and they were not very nice rather cold) but nothing unprofessional either.
We stayed for 5 days. We found the couple who run it very accommodating despite there being a language barrier making a point to say good morning and good evening. You can get a discount by contacting them directly. Everything was clean although basic which perfect as we just wanted somewhere to sleep while we weren't skiing. It takes about 12 mins to walk to the funicular which is the opposite side of the train station. Restaurants in the area seemed better quality and cheaper than on the mountain. Ski Rock was about 13 euros for a three course meal and the top end was about 30 euros for a three course meal.
Stayed in July 2019. A very clean hotel. Interiors are a fusion of old and modern, ski heritage etc. Staff was very friendly and spoke English. There's a restaurant, which isn't too expensive. Quality of food is OK. Breakfast is OK, with bread, cheese, youghurt and cereals. Strong coffee comes self dispensed straight from cooker, which is always a plus! Oh, the had a safe place for bicycles, too. Wifi was good. No elevator to floors with rooms.
